ATTLEBORO, MA (JULY 17, 2001) | Texas Instruments S&C Precision Products introduces its new convenient pipe
mount prevision thermostat. Klixon® Thermostats can now be easily attached to any size pipe ranging in size from
½" to 6" diameter featuring TI’s new pipe mount design. This new and improved mounting configuration
makes the attaching of TI Klixon Thermostats remarkably easier, and at a significant cost savings to our previous
"clamp" design.
This new style Klixon thermostat offers the same high quality thermal protection through snap acting switching and preset,
non–adjustable calibration at a specified operating temperature in the range of -53°C to 288°C. The UL/CSA
recognized 4344 Series is used in applications such as medical equipment and motor protection.
The high reliability M1 Series is qualified to MIL-S-24236/1 and is used in both satellites and radar systems. Our
environmentally sealed 7BT2 Series offers a low cost, more economical, solution for common applications such as water
temperature control, battery packs and industrial motor protection.
