Annual Events and Celebrations

Sensata Attleboro hosts annual Society of Women Engineers event

Sensata Engineers and other female engineers from Southeastern Massachusetts gather to hear from guest speakers every year.

Cultural Day

Our Attleboro site comes alive with sights, sounds and flavors of the world, celebrating Cultural Day. Many of our Employee Resource Groups and teams get together to showcase their vibrant cultural traditions through food, arts, crafts and videos. As a global team, we celebrate the diverse cultures that make us OneSensata.

Baba Marta Celebration in Bulgaria

Our teams in Bulgaria mark the beloved tradition of Baba Marta with festive spirit and cultural pride. Celebrated every March 1st, Baba Marta is a symbol of the coming spring. Colleagues exchange Martenitsi – red and white yarn bracelets – wishing each other health, happiness, and prosperity.

Lunar New Year

Our teams around the world come together to celebrate Lunar New Year with traditional cuisine, vibrant traditions and meaningful cultural exchanges. These celebrations highlight the spirit of renewal prosperity and unity across our global community.

Introduce A Girl to Engineering Day

The two-hour event included a panel discussion with Sensata women in STEM-related careers, followed by laboratory tours, round robin discussion tables and a STEM activity.

The goal was to provide as much access as possible for the girls to ask questions and gain insight into the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics for future opportunities.
