Lug terminals are necessary whenever the required wire size depending on the application exceeds the wire size that can be accepted by the solid state relay connection terminals. Sensata | Crydom offers a variety of copper lug terminals that can be mounted onto most solid state relays with screw terminals or with “elevator” type screws, allowing connection of wires up to size 0 AWG.
