Sensata Attleboro hosts annual Society of Women Engineers event

Sensata Engineers and other female engineers from Southeastern Massachusetts gather to hear from guest speakers every year.

Diversity Engineering Conferences

As part of our diversity strategy, we partner with, and sponsor, various local and international diversity-focused engineering events and conferences. We actively encourage women, minorities, and their allies to attend.

Celebrating Diversity Day

Every year Sensata brings together 120+ Senior Leadership, representatives from global locations and attendees from the host site to hear exciting internal and external contributors, discuss the challenges faced by minorities in our business and bring together allies to overcome these. Intended to educate and inspire, Celebrating Diversity Day (CDD) is a chance to develop professional skills and build connections between our global teams.

Introduce A Girl to Engineering Day

The two-hour event included a panel discussion with Sensata women in STEM-related careers, followed by laboratory tours, round robin discussion tables and a STEM activity.

The goal was to provide as much access as possible for the girls to ask questions and gain insight into the importance of science, technology, engineering and mathematics for future opportunities.
