The MAAX magnetic rotary encoder is designed to operate directly in explosive Class 1, Division 1 and Zone 1 environments commonly found in oil and gas applications. This stackable multi-turn absolute encoder is available in Profibus, CANopen and SSI outputs and can provide up to 16 bits of resolution.
